Welcome to Darlington Pig Discussion Group which has been running for over 55 years and has members from all around the North East.
We are an informal group who have six meetings a year and invite widely respected speakers from our industry to address our meetings.
Featured subjects may include: nutrition, veterinary issues, environment / housing and topical production issues.
It provides a chance to discuss potential improvements with other producers. Talking about successes and difficulties with like-minded people, who have many years of experience, is priceless. The group is open to questions and the resulting discussion can often go on well after the meeting has officially closed, helped by an excellent hot buffet.
